The European regional qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025 brought a big surprise this year - Poland Apogee team, which was not appreciated a few months ago, won the prestigious tournament!

Apogee has experienced a tough battle with 32 teams, including "giants" such as Heroic, OG, Betboom, Ence, Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas and many other strong teams. Despite being considered a underwear, Apogee not only stood firm but also went straight to the final, where they defeated OG with a score of 3-1.

The journey of APOGEE conquers the European qualifiers
On the way to victory, Apogee defeated a series of famous teams, causing many people to doubt their "weak" title. After the group stage started smoothly, they entered the playoffs round with stressful matches.

In the above group stage, Apogee defeated Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-1) and Fnatic, proving that they were not afraid of the top teams.
In the Playoffs, they continued to eliminate Betboom, and in the final, Apogee gave the opponent without chance of protest. They won Ancient (13-5), lost on Nuke (14-16), but then dominated Dust2 (16-14) and Anubis (13-9) to win the qualifying championship.

Polish miracle: Who are they?
Apogee is a team not even in the top 50 of the Valve rankings. However, the gameplay, outstanding personal form and reasonable tactics helped them to do unimaginable. Hypex was honored as the MVP of the final, but especially mentioned JCOBBB, who maintained stability throughout the tournament.

What is waiting ahead?
ApoGee will have the opportunity to compete at PGL Bucharest 2025, where they will compete with big men like G2, Faze, Virtus.pro, The Mongolz, Liquid and many other leading teams to win $ 1.25 million. This is a historic moment for CS2 Poland - a team that has been despised now proves that they are enough to challenge the strongest opponents.

Will Apogee become a fairy tale in 2025, or this is just a momentary moment? We will have the answer in April at PGL Bucharest 2025! 🚀
