G2 were unable to capitalize on the strong start and will have to start the campaign playoff from quarterfinals.

w0nderful's excellent performance on Dust2 helped NAVI successfully make a comeback

Natus Vincere continued their recent excellent form by easily defeating G2 2-0 to qualify for the BLAST Premier Fall Final semi-finals. Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen's team recovered from a slow start to win on Dust2 (13-9) before closing out the series on Ancient (13-9).

G2 still has a chance to get into the playoff round despite the defeat, they will start from the quarterfinals against the winner of the match between Astralis and Spirit. Meanwhile, Natus Vincere will wait for one of three opponents FaZe, Vitality or Liquid in the semi-finals.

Since Natus Vincere became an international team midway through last year, G2 have had a poor record against them. Now, that record has extended to 9-0 in favor of Natus Vincere, which is not surprising as NAVI has risen to become the strongest team in the world in recent months.

After Natus Vincere overcame a difficult start, they easily took down G2. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov's strong AWPing gave G2 an 8-1 T-side lead on Dust2, but Natus Vincere's sniper, Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov, stole the match. The Ukrainian gunman continuously achieved multi-kills, including a 4-kill phase to save a 2v5 situation, when NAVI had a 12-1 streak to close out the map.

On Ancient, NAVI got off to a slow start as they overwhelmed G2 with a flexible and well-coordinated T side strategy. Natus Vincere made some questionable economic decisions at the beginning of the defensive half, allowing G2 to mount a nice comeback, but as the money settled, NAVI finished the game.
