Spirit Defeats Astralis to Advance to BLAST Finals

The second semi-final was decided after three one-way maps.
chopper topped the scoreboard with an index of 1.33
and Spirit won tickets to the finals after winning against Astralis with a score of 2-1 (Dust2 13-5, Vertigo 3-13, Ancient 13-5).
The Russian team dominated on the map of their choice and in the deciding map, but was completely overwhelmed by Astralis on Vertigo. "This is an okay map, but this time we weren't ready. It happens, and that's okay," Danil "donk" Kryshkovets told James "Banks" Banks after the match.
This result marks Spirit's return to form after a difficult time and reinforces donk's assertion from the beginning of the tournament that they are "getting stronger and stronger." He emphasized that the official matches will be an important test, and so far, they have passed this test.
Leonid "chopper" Vishnyakov's team will meet G2 in the finals on Sunday at 16:00, aiming to break a four-match losing streak against Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and company.
The series began with the Dust2 map chosen by Spirit, and they started strong 6-1 thanks to some winning 1v1s from Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov against Nicolai "device" Reedtz. The Danish team then changed their strategy and focused on attacking area B very effectively, helping them end the first half only two rounds behind.
However, when the two sides switched sides, Spirit quickly regained the advantage and won six consecutive rounds, ending Dust2 with a score of 13-5 and sending the series to Vertigo.
Astralis chose Vertigo to exploit Spirit's weakness, and this plan was successful. They completely overwhelmed their opponents and defeated the Russian team with a strong score of 13-3, paving the way to the deciding map Ancient.
True to the series' progression, the third map was again a one-sided match. The Russian team started with a victory in the second force-buy round and converted that advantage into a 9-3 score, eventually winning an overwhelming 13-5 victory, officially advancing to the final in Singapore.
