The MOUZ star succumbed to the power of Vitality.
apEX won against siuhy in Singapore
Take Vitality to the World Final semi-finals after defeating MOUZ in their first match at the arena.
This was also Vitality's revenge when they were eliminated by MOUZ on stage in Rio, a match that could have changed the situation for Kamil "siuhy" Szkaradek's team in major tournaments.
However, Singapore brought MOUZ back to the story of the beginning of the year when the team continued to have difficulty entering the playoff round. Audric "JACKZ" Jug was impressive on Dust2 (1.39 score) and Shahar "flameZ" Shushan, who stood out throughout 2024, showed strength on Mirage, with Lotan "Spinx" Giladi ending the series on points height 1.61.
"After Dust2, I told my teammates: We're playing much better right now," apEX shared with James "BanKs" Banks after the match. "When Spinx, flameZ and ZywOo play like that, who can stop them?"
That will be the challenge for m0NESY, NiKo, and malbsMd in the semi-finals against G2 tomorrow.
Although flameZ is full of energy, MOUZ is overwhelming on stage. All four of MOUZ's main players finished the first map with a rating of 0.78 or lower, and only Dorian "xertioN" Berman maintained a positive K/D ratio in the second map.
Ádám "torzsi" Torzsás and Jimi "Jimpphat" Salo performed the weakest with only 12 kills each after two maps. Torzsi's 0.75 index in this tournament is the lowest ever in the MOUZ shirt, when he had difficulty maintaining his form.
"We had some small problems, many small errors," siuhy shared in a quiet mood on air. "There are things on and off the server that we need to work on again."
MOUZ started off very well as captain siuhy claimed his first five kills in the series, opening up the competitive portion of the tournament in impressive fashion.
However, there wasn't much to celebrate on Dust2 as JACKZ played sublimely and Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut patrolled the map, looking for impact opportunities everywhere.
The French AWPer showed versatility in switching sides, scoring on Lower and then returning to Short to take out two more opponents.
Mirage also started out with a shining moment for MOUZ as xertioN claimed four kills in the pistol round on area A, but Spinx threw a well-placed grenade to take him out shortly after.
In the gun rounds, flameZ continued to shine as he scored an ace in the second anti-force buy round and found 16 kills in the first half, continuously stopping MOUZ in area A.
Vitality's lineup coordinated well when apEX created the perfect opportunity for flameZ with a smoke and flash that helped him claim the triple kill.
MOUZ's hopes of a comeback almost disappeared when they won the pistol round but lost immediately after because of apEX's Tec-9 rush in the B Short area.
