Nearly two years since leading Grayhound, the Mongolian coach has left the framework for a long time.
Flyquest is looking for a new coach after bringing Erdenetsgt "erkast" Gantulga on the bench.
The 30-year-old Mongolian coach has been with Joshua "ins" Potter since 2023 in Grayhound, Jeeves and Flyquest, and has played for many Australian teams in the 2015-2019 period.
Ins and Declan "vexite" Porttili are the only two names left from the original Grayhound squad, and now Erkast has been added to the list of former teammates who have left.
"It can be said that we don't look at Counter-Strike in the same way, and there are some cultural differences," Erkast shared in a notice on X.
Flyquest added Justin "jks" Savage in July, but so far has not made the most of this new firepower in the international arena, when he missed Cologne's main group stage and was eliminated from Round 32 at Blast Bounty.
The team will return to online play in the Blast Open London group stage. The current squad includes:
• Joshua "ins" Potter
• Declan "vexite" Porttili
• Corey "nettik" Browne
• Iulian "regali" Harjău
• Justin "jks" Savage
