There are 3 spots to attend Perfect World's Major Shanghai that will be awarded at RMR Asia. Here's everything you need to know about how this three-day event plays out.

The MongolZ is considered the top candidate at Asia RMR 

Perfect World's final stage to win tickets to Major Shanghai is approaching. On Monday, November 11, the three-week road to qualifying for Counter-Strike's biggest tournament will begin with Asia RMR, taking place in Shanghai, China.

This is the first time since StarLadder Berlin 2019 that three teams will advance to the qualifying round from the Asia-Pacific region. Currently eight teams are ready to enter the battle to win Major tickets.

Participating teams and format

8 teams will participate in Asia RMR after winning tickets through Valve Regional Standings (The MongolZ, FlyQuest and Lynn Vision) or through regional qualifiers in China (Rare Atom), Oceania (TALON), Middle East (DRILLAS) , East Asia (GR) and the rest of Asia (Alter Ego).

Participating teams:

Teams will be divided into double elimination brackets. The first round will be a Bo1 (best-of-one) series, while the following matches will be Bo3 (best-of-three). The detailed schedule for the opening matches is mentioned in the section below.

Match schedule

The tournament will take place from November 11 to 13. The first day is for opening matches, the second day will have two series of matches to qualify for the Major and two series of qualifying matches. The third day will be the final three matches in the loser's bracket, deciding the third team to qualify for Major Shanghai.
