The BLAST World Final and IEM Rio events changed the team rankings this month.

G2 won another title under Snax in Singapore

October saw two major events, BLAST World Final and IEM Rio, where G2 and Natus Vincere won titles to consolidate their positions in the world team rankings. This month also saw a number of smaller LAN events, with FlyQuest winning at ESL Challenger Atlanta earlier this month.

ENCE then took the crown at Elisa Masters Espoo in late October, while Nemiga also claimed the title at RES Regional Champions 2024. Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev also made his LAN debut at ESL Challenger Katowice 2024, where SAW won the championship, and finally, The MongolZ's victory at the Thunderpick World Championship 2024 Finals closed out the month of competition.

For those who are new to watching or need a refresher, below is an overview of how the HLTV World Ranking by 1xBet scores are calculated:

The rankings are based on teams' performance over the past year (with points decreasing month by month), recent form over the last two months and competition performance over the last three months. Each team must have 3 core members to keep their score. Online matches and tournaments also count but there is an element of detrition, meaning online tournaments will not make a huge difference to the top teams, but will mainly help emerging teams get noticed. idea.

Below are the current top 30 rankings as of Monday, November 4, including details of how scores are distributed – you can also see the latest weekly rankings on our rankings page I.

G2 narrows the gap with NAVI

Although Natus Vincere still holds the top spot in the rankings, G2's victory in Singapore helped them significantly close the gap with the team led by Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen. Entering October, G2 was about 300 points behind the Copenhagen Major champions but has now narrowed the gap to only about 100 points.

In Singapore, G2 only lost two maps and won against Liquid, Vitality, and Spirit (twice) to win the trophy. Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov also received the MVP award, bringing his total number of MVP awards in 2024 to three.

The team has reached the finals three times under the leadership of Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski and has won the BLAST Fall and World Finals twice, taking G2 to RMR in top form. With rumors that the Shanghai Major could be the team's last tournament, Nikola "NiKo" Kovač and his teammates have all the ingredients to end their journey on a high note.

FURIA and HEROIC entered the top 10

The top positions in the rankings have remained largely stable due to the large points gap between the first six teams, but the bottom half of the top 10 has seen major fluctuations in October. FURIA and HEROIC are the teams making progress strongest after a number of impressive achievements and reaching the highest position in 2024.

FURIA appeared before his home crowd in Rio

FURIA only attended IEM Rio this month and reached the semi-finals after a stellar performance in the group stage. The Brazilian team defeated FaZe, MOUZ, and Natus Vincere to advance to the top four, but were unable to maintain their form in the arena and lost to MOUZ in the rematch.

HEROIC had an exciting month of competition and participated in IEM Rio, Elisa Masters Espoo, and the Thunderpick World Championship in Berlin. They reached the semi-finals in Brazil after leading the group with wins over G2, Vitality and Astralis, and then had an impressive showdown with champions Natus Vincere.

Following this, they reached the finals at Espoo despite playing against lower ranked opponents, and achieved similar results at the Thunderpick World Championship, where they were defeated by The MongolZ in the finals.

ENCE advanced strongly in the top 30

This month also saw a number of new names join the top 30, but the most notable is ENCE. This team had a difficult 2024 and finished outside the top 30, but recent changes to the squad have brought new life to them.

ENCE won their first title of the year at Espoo

The team signed Kacper "xKacpersky" Gabara and Ryan "Neityu" Aubry in hopes of bringing freshness to the roster, and they had a great debut. ENCE won the Elisa Masters Espoo after defeating HEROIC 3-1 in the BO5 final, earning enough points to return to a top 30 position.

Although the team will not participate in RMR and will lose a lot of ranking points, this early success is a good sign for the upcoming season.

Nemiga and Monte join ENCE in the top 30

Joining ENCE in the top 30 are Nemiga and Monte, currently ranked 28th and 30th respectively.

Nemiga's rise came from their victory at the RES Regional Champions in Belgrade, where they defeated UNPAID in the final to win the $150,000 prize. The team entered the tournament as the 5th ranked team, but overcame Aurora and fnatic to be crowned champions.

Monte had a quiet debut with the Polish-speaking squad, but it was enough to claim the final spot in the top 30. The team qualified through the open qualifiers in Poland and beat Legacy and MIBR to reach the playoffs before lost to SAW, who went on to win the tournament.
