Typo, Astralis, Big and Pain started impressively at Fissure Playground #1

The Fissure Playground #1 in Belgrade started with a series of dramatic matches and interesting surprises from the beginning. On the first day of competition, the four teams showed their ambition to conquer the championship trophy with convincing 2-0 victories. Tyloo, Astralis, Big and Pain are the most prominent names, when they both defeat the rivals and get closer to the playoff round.
Typo especially attracted attention when they excelled in defeating Virtus.pro without losing any game. This is considered the biggest shock on the first day, especially when considering the performance of the VP in previous tournaments. Astralis has proven that they are gradually finding stability with the confident performance before Mibr, confirming their position clearly. Big has ruined Heroic's plan, the team is still struggling to seek stability after changes in personnel. Meanwhile, Pain crushed Rare Atom, firmly strengthening the leading position in South America.
Results of matches on July 15:
Astralis 2–0 mibr

The winning teams will go straight to the quarterfinals, so these are extremely important matches. For the losing teams on the first day, the next match will be decisive: Heroic, Virtus.pro, Furia and many other names are at risk of being eliminated from the tournament, and a failure will mean their journey at Fissure Playground #1 ends.
