Xtreme Gaming made a surprise decision after the defeat at the Dreamleague

China's Xtreme Gaming will not attend the Esports World Cup 2025 in Riyadh. This announcement was given by the owner of the club after the disappointing performance of the team at the Dreamleague Season 26, where XG only ranked 7th in Group A and lost the opportunity to enter the second group stage.
The organization owner reacted emotionally on social networks:
"A team doesn't even overcome the group stage but representing Cndota? Is this a joke? A joke between a lot of jokes, a real joke."
According to him, Xtreme Gaming is not capable to represent China in a prestigious tournament like EWC after such a weak performance.
XG will officially withdraw from the race to win the EWC 2025.
In conclusion, he expressed his nostalgia for the past achievements of Chinese DotA:
"I just hope Cndota will become a champion at The International in Seattle. The last time they went to San-shao, at least in the top 4. Last year in Copenhagen-Top 6.
