Faze entered the playoff round of PGL Bucharest after passing the Apogee phenomenon from Poland.

The Dust2 map chosen by Apogee has become an easy match for Finn "Karrigan" Andersen and his teammates with a score of 13-5. The match on the Ancient map was more intense with a score of 7-7 before Faze accelerated and ended the match with a 13-8 victory.

The match has a special personal factor, when Karrigan confronted the team his wife, Anna Suder, was a sports psychologist.

However, it was the powerful firepower and the diversified call of the captain who proved superior to the psychological factor - especially when all four core members of Faze played well, including two -shaped names, Helvijs "Broky" afterkants and Håvard "Rain" Nygaard.

Both teams stand out in the pistol rounds in the group stage, Apogee even won the Round Pistol in six consecutive maps. But the outstanding skill of FAZE broke the important victory condition of the Polish team when they won three of the four room pistol of this series.

The less prominent performance of young Jakub "JCOBBB" Pietruszewski is also a minus for Apogee, when they realize the true harshness when confronted with a leading team in the 2-2 decision match of Swiss.

Although Apogee's fairy journey ended with failure, the impressive series of matches in Bucharest helped them leap from the 50th rank at the end of March to 24 on the regional rankings of Valve, as expected.

Unfortunately, the series came after the MRQ closing on April 7, making them unable to win tickets to the Major.

However, the victory over Astralis and The Mongolz proved the potential of this team and helped them gain respect from those who have doubt their ability to play.

Faze is determined to end the thirst for a year before the milestone

FaZe has a fairly dripping group stage, with defeat against Complexity and Astralis, but they can be satisfied because they have completed their tasks before a dangerous opponent.

But with a fairly open playoff round and Broky is returning to the performance with 1.47 rating in the series, the end of the thirst for the title after 364 days on Sunday is entirely possible.
