Bryle returned after a year of absence to stand-in for the Liquid team in the first Lan tournament for many years held in his home area.

The legendary organization has twice won The International - Team Liquid - is one of the top candidates at ESL One Raleigh 2025, one of Dota 2's largest LAN tournaments this year. However, just one day before the event began, Liquid's coach - William "Blitz" Lee - revealed that Michał "Nisha" Jankowski, Midlaner of the team, will not be able to attend the tournament due to visa issues.

In a last minute change, Team Liquid will use Jonathan Bryle "Bryle" Santos de Guia as Stand-in instead of Nisha throughout the tournament. Blitz also reassured fans that Nisha would return to the rest of this season.

Bryle returned to compete for Liquid after a year inactive

Liquid's loss of a key player right before an important event is extremely unfortunate. Nisha is one of the best midlaner in the world, and finding someone who is capable of replacing him, especially in urgent time, is not easy.

Unexpectedly, the Canadian Midlaner - Bryle - accepted to play instead of Liquid at ESL One Raleigh.
