In an unexpected development, Nigma Galaxy will participate in PGL Wallachia season 3.
Southeast Asia, Talon Esports, has just announced withdrawal from PGL Wallachia Season 3. Talon, the only team representing the SEA area in the tournament, revealing that they decided to miss this event to complete the visa procedure to ensure that they can participate in important tournaments in the future.
"Due to the request for a visa application for other major tournaments, we are forced to make this difficult decision and withdraw from PGL Wallachia season 3," Talon announced.
Talon received tickets to attend high -level events such as PGL Wallachia Season 4 in April and ESL One Raleigh 2025 in May. With a dense international schedule, the team prioritizes the logistics problem before continuing the rest of the season.
Nigma Galaxy replaces Talon Esports
Talon retreated just five days before the starting tournament left a drum in the list of participating teams. PGL quickly confirmed that the Middle East, Nigma Galaxy, will replace Talon in this tournament.
Earlier, Nigma Galaxy played in the Western European qualifying round for this tournament and rolled the target in third place, after Avulus and OG - the two teams won directly to the group stage.
The unexpected invitation for Nigma Galaxy will surely attract attention at PGL Wallachia season 3, especially when this team is in impressive performance recently. However, it should be noted that they are likely not to have the service of the "Miracle-" Carry America star Al-Barkawi, and Daniel Chan "Ghost" Kok Hong will continue to play replacement in the near future.
Although Nigma Galaxy fans have a reason to rejoice, this news leaves regret for the Southeast Asian Dota 2 community. Talon withdraws means that there is no team from this area to attend PGL Wallachia season 3. This also happens right after Aurora Gaming restructured, moving from the SEA -based squad to a completely squad in Eastern Europe.
PGL Wallachia Season 3 will take place from March 8 to 16, gathering the top 16 teams, including champion candidates like Team Spirit and Tundra Esports, all competing to take part of the total prize worth $ 1 million.
