Monte returned to using English in communication and handed over command to 20-year-old English player, Gizmy.

Players from Gizmy academy will take on the role of captain in the game

Monte completed the 2025 roster by promoting Jack "⁠Gizmy⁠" von Spreckelsen and Gytis "⁠ryu⁠" Glušauskas from the Monte Gen project.

This pair will replace two Polish players, Szymon "⁠kRaSnaL⁠" Mrozek and Kamil "⁠KEi⁠" Pietkun, ending the period when the team used Polish in communication.

Coach Ivan "⁠AiyvaN⁠" Semenets will also be promoted from the academy to replace Piotr "⁠nawrot⁠" Nawrocki, while Gizmy will take on the role of in-game captain in place of Olek "⁠hades⁠ " Miskiewicz, bring the team back to a more traditional structure.

The pair from the academy have played for the main team before, following the departure of Alexander "⁠br0⁠" Bro and Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev, where they achieved a playoff run at ESL Pro League Season 19.

Plans for the new phase of the Monte Gen project are also underway, with Esports Director Denys "Dance" Yashniev posting on Twitter to confirm that the academy will be relaunched.

"Everyone on the Monte Gen project has passed the academy level," Dance said. "Therefore, we put this project on hold until we find a new coach and we intend to continue looking for young talent in the future."
