The Romanian international has been moved to the bench as the squad is being rebuilt for the 2025 season.
ECLOT has relegated Raul "Blytz" Gligor to the bench and placed him on the transfer list, the Czech Republic organization announced on Sunday. This is the second roster change the team has made in the offseason, following the departure of Rasmus "kreaz" Johansson last month.
Blytz joined ECLOT in December 2023 along with kreaz. He averaged a rating of 1.13 during his time with the team, helping the team win multiple regional LANs and online tournaments, including European Pro League Season 15.
ECLOT's season peaked in November when they participated in the Europe RMR tournament. They came close to securing a spot at the Major, but sadly lost to fnatic in a 2-2 series, with the deciding map going to extra time.
"Blytz played a key role in our success last year and his personal qualities are undeniable, which made this decision a risky one," said ECLOT CEO Martin Novotný. Share in an announcement.
"However, we have decided to take advantage of the current opportunities in the market and take the team in a new, hopefully successful direction. Over the next few days, you will see the announcement of two players new."
ECLOT's current lineup:
Czech Republic: Screw "nbqq" Pohlot
Czech Republic: Martin "Dytor" Handl
Czech Republic: David "forsyy" Bilanh
Czech Republic: Pavel "replay" Vaněk (coach)
Romania: Raul "Blytz" Gligor (bench)
