On June 23, 2025, Falcons officially announced the recruitment of Maksim "Kyousuke" Lukin from Spirit Academy. Shortly thereafter, an influential person in the CS community posted the news with the information that this deal consumed Falcons 2 million USD. However, the CEO of Falcons - Mossad "Msdossary" Aldossary - quickly denied this number and called it "inaccurate".

"Thank you for sharing the notice, but the rumors of the fee is not right. The transfer fee is really big, but not almost the figure mentioned," he commented.

The Kyousuke deal is the latest link in the chain of cult contracts of Falcons. Earlier in April 2025, they signed a contract with M0nesy from G2 Esports - rumored to be about 2.5 million USD, one of the biggest transfer cases in CS2 history. Earlier this year, the team also bought the trio from Heroic - Teses, Degster and Kyxsan - with a small amount.

Within half a year, Falcons completely rebuilt the squad, with the total amount of investment (informal estimates) exceeding half a million USD. The recruitment of Kyousuke is not only a gamble for the future but also a clear evidence for the organization's ambition to rise to become the world's number one team.
