On social networking sites, the Bilibili Gaming team (BLG) announced the breakup of the jungler Yan "Wei" Yang-Wei. Accordingly, BLG confirmed that the Beichuan player will be used for the rest of the season, in the immediate future is the MSI 2025 tournament.

BLG updates on the team's homepage:
“After the friendly exchange between the two sides, the player went to Diem Duong Uy forest (ID: Wei), belonging to the League of Legends squad, officially leaving the team from today.

Meeting at a difficult time, shoulder to shoulder on the top stage. From July 2024 to June 2025, for more than 300 days, we and Wei together experienced the joy of winning the championship, as well as experiencing the pain when failing on the highest stage.

In this emotional journey, Wei's tolerance and dedication spirit has brought the team stability and persistence, helping the BLG to overcome the long decline period - resigning the summer championship to the journey to pursue a dream at Worlds. Those precious days will forever print deep in our memories. ”

Wei joined the BlG in the middle of the 2024 season and sticking with the team for 11 months. During that time, he and his teammates won the Summer LPL Championship 2024, then won the runner -up at the 2025 World Championship. Entering the 2025 season, Xun left the team and Wei became BLG's official jungler. However, the team did not achieve the expected achievement when only ranked 4 at LPL Split 1. After Beichuan joined, Wei lost the official play position and eventually left BLG.

Before joining BlG, Wei had played for more than three years in the Royal Never Give Up shirt, winning many important titles such as two MSI championships in 2021 and 2022, and three LPL championships. In terms of personal achievements, the most prominent is the Finals MVP title at MSI 2022, where Wei and RNG defeated T1 with a score of 3-2 in the final.
