World Finals 2024: Bilibili Gaming had a favorable start, T1 lost miserably to Top Esports

In the first series of the 2024 Swiss World Finals, Bilibili Gaming (BLG) won against MAD Lions KOI (MDK). Meanwhile, Top Esports (TES) won against T1 as the world champions kept losing fights.


Entering the match, BLG played first on the blue team and chose a strong attacking lineup with Vi - Ahri, while MDK headed to the final stage with the main duo Syndra - Tristana. MDK started off well with many kills but BLG quickly regained their position and took the lead. After that, BLG used map control to push MDK's 5 turrets.

At minute 21, Myrwn made a mistake and was caught, thereby BLG won Baron. Just 2 minutes later, MDK lost the fight in the mid lane, BLG created a clean sweep and increased the total difference to 10,000 money. By the 26th minute, BLG pushed all three lanes before winning the fight in the main house and ending the game.


Coming to the match of TES - T1, TES played first on the blue side and chose a formation towards the top wing with Renekton - Skarner - Aurora. Meanwhile, T1 is aiming for a team fight with Neeko and Ashe - Rakan. In the early stages, T1 played very well, winning the first two towers early, although the TES wrestler gained a lot of kills after the fight in the 13th minute.

After that, T1 tried to fight to continue to create a gap in the lead. The two teams continuously struggled until the 29th minute. T1 tried to open a fight but failed. TES pushed straight into the mid lane and destroyed the main house, winning against the reigning world champions.
