Parivision set a historical record in DOTA 2

Parivision has just set a historic record among Dota 2 professional when reaching the highest Glicko-2 ranking ever, after the impressive performance at the Dreamleague season 26.
Related statistical information was shared by analyst Ben "Noxville" Stinuizen on his personal X (Twitter) page.
"Impressive performance with a record of 31 - 4 losses at Dreamleague season 26. Congratulations to Parivision. This is the third highest win rate among teams playing more than 20 matches at the tournament."
According to the UK data, the Glicko-2 rank after the team's tournament is 2129.68-the highest level in Dota 2 history. The previous record belonged to Tundra Esports with 2103.81 in March 2025.

To understand the meaning of this record, it is necessary to clarify what Glicko-2 is. This is a mathematical system used to assess the power of players and the team, developed by Mark Glickman. Unlike traditional Elo systems, Glicko-2 considers: Ranking players/teams, the reliability of the assessment and the stability of the results.
Therefore, Glicko-2 allows more accuracy of the true power of a team, especially when there is a sudden change of performance or the number of matches is limited.
