BetBoom Dacha Belgrade 2024 ended last night with a thrilling five-game final, delivering some of the most exciting matches Dota 2 fans have seen in a long time.

The Falcons entered the finals from the winner's bracket and met Tundra Esports again on Saturday, October 26, when Tundra edged BetBoom Team in the loser's bracket final to claim the final ticket.

Before entering the finals, Tundra and Falcons had a previous encounter in the playoff round, and it was the Falcons who pushed Tundra to the loser's bracket in the first meeting. This is also sweet revenge for the Falcons after what Tundra did to them at TI13. Although Tundra entered the new season with a changed roster, the rivalry between these two teams marked the beginning of the new season.

Falcons take on Tundra Esports

Tundra, with a fiery spirit after winning the loser's bracket final, opened the final with an overwhelming victory in the first game. Their team fighting style and strong tower pushing ability with the trio of Luna, Ember Spirit and Beastmaster made the Falcons stagger. Neta "33" Shapira with Beastmaster caused so much trouble for the Falcons and was so influential in the first game that the champion was banned from the first round throughout the series.

In all five games, 33 was always the main target during the ban phase, with his Visage also being banned from the start. This forces Tundra to pivot their strategy around champions Enigma, Bristleback, and Broodmother. 33 played two games with Broodmother, winning one and losing one in the finals. He gave Tundra the lead in game 3 but lost in game 4, pushing the final to a deciding game 5.

The final game of the night lasted until the 72nd minute even though the Falcons had a strong lineup with Nature's Prophet, Chen, and Alchemist. Tundra countered the Falcons' strong play with Ursa carry and perfect positioning from 33 on Enigma.

After 60 minutes, the match becomes more intense than ever when everything depends on killing the right target and timing the revival. Ultimately, Tundra ran out of resources and had to accept defeat, with every game revolving around the offlaners. Even though 33 didn't get to play his strongest champions, Ammar "ATF" Al-Assaf was the decisive factor for the Falcons with champions like Mars and Doom, two champions he played 4 of the time. 5 games. His ability to place Arena of Blood in combat to protect carries or create traps for Tundra gave the Falcons an advantage in game two, and his Doom helped the Falcons take the match to game 5.

In the final game, Tundra focused on banning Doom and Mars along with Razor and Bristleback, strong ATF champions. However, ATF still made a big impact with Pangolier in the offlane position, starting with Diffusal Blade and then moving up to Blink Dagger, Aeon Disk and Aghanim's Scepter. After 40 minutes, he picked up items that controlled the entire fight such as Octarine, Refresher, Abyssal, and Disperser, helping the Falcons complete their perfect revenge against Tundra.

“I'm the best in the world,” ATF said proudly on stage during the awards ceremony, where the Falcons received a Tormentor-shaped trophy and championship medal.

When will the Falcons and Tundra play again?

The answer is TODAY. The two teams that just participated in the finals will have no time to rest as they both prepare to enter DreamLeague Season 24, which kicks off today, October 27, 2024. Furthermore, they are in the same group and will meet again less than 24 hours after the BB Dacha final.

The Falcons match against Tundra will start at 19:30 CET, promising to continue a series of dramatic confrontations between the two teams.
