Despite the debate about the future of DOTA 2, PGL has affirmed its long -term commitment to this game when announcing 13 tournaments from now until the end of 2028, each prize has a total prize of up to $ 1 million.

Notably, PGL is the first organizer to announce the tournament until 2028 - surpassing many other units. In particular, 4 new prizes will take place in 2028.

PGL also updates the schedule:

Wallachia Season 5 will take place from 18–29/June 2025 (instead of November)

Season 6 will be held from 4–16/November 2025

In addition, PGL will continue to be the organizer of The International (TI) - the World Championship of DOTA 2 - which has been in charge of 2017. TI 2025 will apply the Swiss group group stage formula and organized from 4–14/9/2025 in Hamburg, Germany.
