Recently on the Telegram, Aleksandr "Sweetypotz" Shcherbakov - former CS: GO manager of Cloud9 - suddenly posted an article that refers to that G2 Esports has tried to approach and recruit Cloud9 players. The names mentioned include Sh1ro, Nafany and Boombl4.

Aleksandr "Sweetypotz" Shcherbakov is a long -term stick with the CS: GO squad, from the time of playing under the color of the Esports Gambits in 2018, until Cloud9 officially acquired the squad in 2022. After Cloud9 dissolved CS: GO team, there is currently no information related to Sweetypotz as well as Groove coach.

In the article, Sweetypotz shared:
"I do not mean to 'drown' someone who is having difficulty, but ... you have tried to approach, recruit Sh1ro and Nafany since they were still in Gambit Youngsters, even though they didn't leave.

And the last time, you succeeded - recruited a new player in the three -month team and competed in exactly a single LAN prize. Giờ thì mọi chuyện như chiếc boomerang quay trở lại. Có lẽ, zonic (HLV của Falcons) chính là ‘quả báo’ cho những gì bạn từng làm với tôi.”

The post was given at the time when G2 Esports had just broken up with M0nesy, after Niko also left the team to join Falcons. The third name speculated by the community is Heavygod - a new player who joined G2 earlier this year, had a short time wearing Cloud9 and only played a LAN tournament.

After losing two big stars, G2 Esports is expected to have a "great surgery" in terms of squad. However, in the immediate future, they will temporarily use Hades - a player from Monte - to play at Blast.tv Austin Major 2025, taking place in June.
