To prepare for Riyadh Masters 2025, Team Spirit decided not to attend Dreamleague Season 26, one of the largest Dota 2 tournaments today.
This information was published through Team Spirit Telegram, where Nikita "Cheshir" Chukalin, CEO of the organization, explained the reason in feedback to fans:
"Join the Dreamleague gives us not to worry about the EPT point, but because we are eligible, we decided to rest and focus on Riyadh Masters."
He also emphasized that Dreamleague Season 25 is a very successful tournament, helping the team to have enough EPT points to win the invitation directly to Riyadh Masters 2025. Therefore, Team Spirit has chosen to take a break to prepare more carefully for the upcoming important tournaments.
Previously, Team Spirit also caught attention when first announcing the salary of the players.
