Initially, this was expected to be the first level 1 tournament held in Mexico since the final of Esports Championship Series season 4 in 2017. However, Mexico once again had to wait. Blast expressed his hope to return to this area in the future, but it has not yet given a specific timeline.

The Rivals 2025 will have the participation of eight teams. In particular, four teams receive tickets directly via VRS. The remaining four will belong to Wildcard teams from Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

Blast Rivals Spring 2025 will take place from April 30 to May 4, with a total prize worth 350,000 USD.
