In an unexpected development, Fortniteman continued to become the crystal of new OG squads when trying to win the tournament.

The famous Dota 2 team failed in the first effort to qualify after reforming the squad just three days earlier. The launch of the new version of OG ended in a disaster, when they were eliminated both at Dreamleague Season 26 Western European Open Qualifiers (OQ) that could not enter the closed qualifying round.

The interesting coincidence is that OG once again failed to the Mykhailo team "Fortniteman" Pylypenko, this was the second time this year they were eliminated by this opponent.

OG is eliminated from the Dreamleague Season 26 qualifier

OG, with three experimental players including Stefan "Ulnit" Gavrila, Cedric "Davai Lama" Deckmym, and Ivan "Kidaro" Bondarev, just win two series in one of the two qualifiers to win the Closed Qualifiers of DreamLeague Season 26. In theory, this is an easy road for OG to at least enter the closed qualifying round. However, they failed in both trials.

At OQ #1, OG lost to the first round against the Mafia Power, a stack from Bulgaria by Ivan "mind_control" Borislavov Ivanov (champion TI7). In OQ #2, OG has a better start when winning the first match against End Game - another Stack also has Mind_control with Lashha "Nande" Narsia and Irakil "W1sh" Peranidze. But soon, OG encountered a Bottom bikini - an anonymous stack from Eastern Europe and received bitter defeat. It is worth noting that Bottom bikini has the presence of Fortniteman, who eliminated OG twice in a row in Dreamleague Season 24 in September 2024, helping him for the first time in a big tournament.

With the three OG players who are only in the testing phase and no tournament for them to attend until May, it is unclear whether the organization will continue to stick with this squad or continue to rebuild it again.
