The BLAST Bounty qualifier will feature 32 teams, including the 28 highest ranked teams (according to Valve's Global Rankings). These 28 teams will be accompanied by 4 wildcard teams selected by BLAST. These teams will have bonuses.

The event's unique format means the highest-ranked teams will be the biggest targets and have more to lose as the matches progress. Teams will play in a bo3 knockout format with the first two rounds played online in the first week from European servers.

The top eight teams out of these 32 will qualify for the main event in Copenhagen. Taking place at BLAST Studios, this will be a LAN setting and teams will play single-elimination matches until the Grand Finals. The final round will be a best-of-five affair.
