Tundra Esports has decided not to continue working with Lorenof after the end of his three-month loan period at the team.

Tundra Esports has just announced a change to their Dota 2 roster, parting ways with Artem "Lorenof" Melnick as his loan period from Aurora officially ends. Lorenof will join new team, Chimera Esports, but will remain on loan from Aurora.

Tundra Esports Dota 2's current roster includes:

Egor "Nightfall" Grigorenko
TBD (unpublished)
Neta "33" Shapira
Martin "Saksa" Sazdov

Matthew "Whitemon" Filemon

Lorenof ended 3 months of playing with Tundra

For the past three months, Lorenof has taken on the role of midlaner for Tundra Esports. He joined the team after Tundra placed third at The International (TI) 2024, replacing Topias "Topson" Taavitsainen, who retired. During his time competing, Lorenof participated in three tournaments and helped the team achieve some impressive results, including two runner-up finishes at BetBoom Dacha Belgrade and BLAST Slam I.

"He is a very good player. I really liked his performance in Aurora, and their team achieved quite good results. Of course, they are not the best team in the world, but he played very well,” 33 commented on Lorenof in an interview at PGL Wallachia II.

While the teams continue to compete at ESL One Bangkok 2024, Tundra Esports and Lorenof officially parted ways. After his loan ended, Lorenof joined Chimera Esports to play alongside Aybek "TA2000" Tokayev, another player who is no longer on Aurora's main roster.

Tundra Esports will have a new midlaner

Although it has undergone many roster changes since the end of TI 2024, Tundra Esports still maintains a stable performance and is always in the leading group at tournaments, although the current results do not really meet their ambitions. of the team. With Lorenof's departure, a new face will join this TI-winning organization.

In a previous interview, 33 revealed that the team was targeting former OG midlaner Bozhidar "bzm" Bogdanov. However, due to contract issues, this 19-year-old player - currently sitting on the bench at OG - has not yet been able to join Tundra. With an open spot in the lineup, the possibility of bzm joining Tundra is still being speculated.
