Pavel "9pasha" Khvastunov, streamer and Dota 2 legend, has called on Valve to reset the MMR ranking system in the game due to the current state of matchmaking being so bad.

He made this call during a live stream on Twitch.

"Let's do it, just do it. Push the damn button – so everyone has to calibrate again. Update this crap. You guys ruined Dota 2, ruined it!"

The former esports player believes that players will be willing to overlook controversial developer decisions and all matchmaking issues if the ranking system is reset. 9pasha believes that pub games are completely ruined, and only a complete MMR reset can save the game.

It should be noted that there are currently a lot of players, especially at high levels, complaining about problems in the matchmaking system due to smurfing, game bug abuse and other dishonest behavior.
