Zeus is a good player and HLE is a collection of superstars but not sure this is a suitable deal.

Zeus's gameplay at T1

For those who watched T1 since Zeus debuted in 2022, they understood: This player can play the role of a pure tanker, a gladiator who opens the fight or damage of the team. However, Zeus was the strongest when he was able to use the generals who could "carry the team", such as Camille, Aatrox or Jayce as a prosthetic gladiator. This gameplay has a feature: if you want to develop for Zeus to the maximum, the middle line and it may be that the AD must accept the weak, even background role.

When Zeus still played for T1, his gameplay was maximized when Faker pure Make Play and Gumayusi was ready to hold weaker generals than the opponent, without putting resources and Keria and Oner regularly camp on the wing. Thus, just Zeus plays in the right style, the play of T1 is extremely easy to operate. Of course, there are also rivals that catch the cards but to really win this team, especially at Worlds, it is almost impossible.

HLE's gameplay

HLE is a "star" and their main force is Zeka and Viper. This is a prerequisite for HLE's play since the current squad was established. In Zeus's top line, Doran is the player who will accept the background for the play of two teammates. Doran's generals in 2024, the 4 most used generals are K'Sante, Gnar, Aatrox and Jax.

Of these 4 names, only Gnar is somewhat advantageous to go on the road but at the end of the game, maybe only Aatrox and Jax are increasing the power of stability enough to become the main damage. Even, Jax was weak at the beginning of the game that was easy to be lanes when he was a short -sleeved general, not as strong as K'Sante or Gnar, and there was no recovery skill set like Aatrox. In short, Doran will have to "self -kill" so that resources will be accumulated for Viper and Zeka.

Zeus may not be suitable for HLE

Zeus is still a very good, excellent player. It is no exaggeration to speak in HLE's defeats against T1, Zeus is HLE's brightest player. Even when he had to be the background, he still contributed greatly to help HLE almost win the T1. But obviously, HLE's play is not very suitable for Zeus.

Zeus can be the background on the condition that Zeka must win against rivals such as ChoVy or Faker and Viper to always go to the Ruler, Gumayusi. Zeka has not shown that he can make play or as a good background like Faker and Chovy. Meanwhile, Viper, when holding the upper hand, still could not win Gumayusi. Not to mention Delight or Peanut is also weaker than names like Peanut, Keria, Canyon and Duro.

More important: in HLE, up to 3 main resources need resources and this is too much. Peanut - Delight could not "serve" them all, especially when these main forces were inferior to the opponent. Since then, Zeus himself was lost when his teammates were unable to put their resources, nor could he finish the opponent even when Zeus had the top play play.

Maybe in the future, HLE will have to improve the gameplay. But now, they and Zeus themselves are probably not a "predestined" relationship that HLE fans expect as the initial expectations.
