Samuel "Boxi" Swan chose Michael "Micke" Wu as the best player (MVP) of Team Liquid at the Riyadh Masters 2025 in the framework of Esports World Cup in DOTA 2.

The statement shared by Boxi on personal telegram channel:

"Probably Micke, because he is a very active person. Thanks to him, the whole team always keeps the atmosphere happy. I think he is the one who keeps everything from collapse when things become difficult."

Although Team Liquid won most of the matches in the group stage, Boxi also admitted that some matches were really difficult. He especially expressed anxiety about the formula without a losing branch, where each Bo3 match was a life -and -death battle. According to him, in such a format, meeting the right opponent is a key factor to continue the journey at the tournament.

"Up to the present is still fine. I can't say it is easy. Obviously we have won most of the matches, but some matches are really difficult. I feel that this tournament is quite fun, but it is also a bit scary because there is no losing branch - just a bo3 is always going. Therefore, meeting the right opponent is extremely important.

Earlier, Kamil "Koma" Biktimirov - Streamer of Team Spirit - also once said that Michal "Nisha" Jankowski was the tactical pillar of Team Liquid, and the current team operated around him.
