The German Organization Alternate Attax has announced the stopped completely participating in the professional Counter-Strike 2. This decision was announced on X, and the current team has been allowed to seek new opportunities. This is the result of a strategic assessment that the organization initiated in October last year.

The reason and consequences of the decision

Alternate Attax has announced the intention to focus on a new ambitious project, but after thorough analysis, they concluded that Counter-Strike 2 currently does not provide the necessary economic and sports conditions for long-term development. In January this year, the organization announced the withdrawal from the professional stage, combined with plans for the future. Over the past months, the team has worked to implement these plans, but it must admit that the game does not provide enough platforms to develop a sustainable project.

This year, Alternate Attax only played three matches, won third place at Dach Masters Season 3. The team also participated in the 52 and 53 seasons of Esea Main Europe, but did not achieve significant success. Recent changes in the role include replacing the previous squad with most of the Reveal team, as well as the promotion of Florian "Fog" Gloddeck from the Academy.
