The Kazakhstan Awper officially joined Furia before the Blast.tv Austin Major.

Furia has just published a surprise contract with Danil "⁠molodoy⁠" Golubenko from the Amkal team after the Brazilian organization brought Marcelo "⁠chelo⁠" Cespedes on the bench on Friday.

The 20 -year -old player, who takes on the main Awper position in the old team, will play for Furia at the Austin Major event because the registration list will be locked soon.

It is not clear how this change will affect the role of the players in Furia, especially when Molodoy joins while Gabriel "⁠fallen⁠" Toledo is still in the squad.

However, it is likely that Molodoy will become the main AWPER of the team, considering that he reached an average rating of 1.26 with AWP in 2025. This could mean that Fallen will follow the "⁠cadian⁠" Møller to switch to IGL playing Rifle.

The 20 -year -old player started making a mark after signing a contract with Amkal in early 2025, contributing to the team to win the closed qualifying round in Europe of PGL Astana 2025 and reached the playoff round of the CCT Season 2 Europe Series 16.

However, Molodoy has only played 148 map recorded in HLTV in his career, meaning he will face a big challenge when moving to compete at Tier 1 level and using English in communication.

Furia's new squad will have its debut at PGL Astana - held in Molodoy's hometown of Kazakhstan - on May 10.
