The final opening of PGL Astana in Europe has ended with Ninjas in Pyjamas and Wildlotus winning tickets to the closed qualifying round of the tournament.

Zero Tenacity, Betera and Kono are remarkable names that were eliminated before the tournament entered the decisive matches. There, Ninjas in Pyjamas confronted Hesta, while Wildlotus encountered Ghoulswer to compete in a closed qualifying round.

Ninjas in Pyjamas had to be very hard to win against the opponent from Russia. They lost the first map with a score of 8-13 and were led 4-12 on the CT side on the Nuke map, but showed his bravery to successfully come back.

After failing in all three previous open qualifiers of PGL Astana, this qualifying will be a great mental push for the team currently ranked 161 on the Valve rankings.

In the second decisive match, Thomas's "Birdfromsky" Due-Frederiksen's "Birdfromsky" squad in the Wildlotus shirt surpassed Ghoulsw after a series of three map stresses, ending with a 13-11 victory on Anubis map.

Wildlotus played Joey "Cruc1al" Steusel and Johannes "B0rup" Borup to replace the familiar duo Hristiyan "Redstar" Pironkov and Owen "Smooya" Butterfield. However, the most shining name is Nicolas "Keoz" DGus, who reached a rating 1.29 in the decisive match.

With this result, the list of 32 teams participating in the closed qualifying round has been officially completed. The teams will compete to win a single capacity to PGL Astana - the tournament will take place on May 10 in Kazakhstan with a total prize of up to 1,250,000 USD.
