Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev has revealed his salary in the early stages of his professional Dota 2 career. Accordingly, he started with a salary of 250-300 USD at team ScaryFaceZ, 1,500 USD at Team Empire, and 3,000 USD when joining Virtus.pro.

In a livestream on Twitch, RAMZES666 shared:

"First salary at Virtus.pro? It's 3,000 USD. At Team Empire it's 1,500 USD. And at ScaryFaceZ, I get 250-300 USD per month, but it's pretty bad. Cheshir is the one who pays our salary at SFZ, he's still on Team Spirit now."

Besides, RAMZES666 revealed that currently, tier-1 teams pay players over 10,000 USD per month. However, he also commented that the difference between tier-1 and tier-2 teams is not too big. According to him, the teams with the highest salaries for players today are Gaimin Gladiators and Team Spirit.

Notably, Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev revealed that he used to play for Tundra Esports without any fixed salary. Instead, his only financial motivation is the prize share from the tournaments the team wins.
