SunPayus is a prominent name in HEROIC's new lineup.

HEROIC has just announced a new roster, recruiting Sangal's key trio Linus "LNZ" Holtäng, Simon "yxngstxr" Boije and Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç, along with Álvaro "SunPayus" García and Andrey "tN1R" Tatarinovich.

In the announcement, Linus "nilo" Bergman and Pavle "Maden" Bošković were designated as reserves for HEROIC's upcoming BLAST Bounty campaign.
The new roster largely matches Sheep Esports' previous report, however nilo is not on the official roster.

It is unclear HEROIC's future plans with this squad, especially when they have two famous reserves. nilo is considered one of Europe's brightest young talents, while Maden helped ENCE win IEM Dallas and reach No. 2 in the 2023 world rankings.

By signing Sangal's key trio, HEROIC has secured participation in several major tournaments next season, including BLAST Bounty and ESL Pro League Season 21.

Sangal were one of the top teams at level two in 2024, winning multiple CCT championships and two ECL seasons, but struggled to transition to level one, being eliminated early in EPL 20 and failed to qualify for both Majors.

SunPayus reunites with former ENCE coach Eetu "sAw" Saha, joining HEROIC, and the Spaniard hopes to regain the form that saw him named the 6th best player 2023. SunPayus struggled to maintain form while playing for the Falcons last year.

The final addition to the squad is tN1R, a 23-year-old player whose career has mostly been spent with lower-level Russian-speaking teams. He spent the second half of 2024 playing for GUN5, averaging a 1.20 rating while competing in level two and three online events.
