One of the big changes in the professional League of Legends that Riot Games has made in the 2025 season is merging VCS, PCS, LJL... into an area called LCP. Therefore, LCP 2025 Season Kickoff is an extremely special tournament when (former) VCS representatives such as GAM, MVKE or TSW confront strong teams in the region right at the beginning of the year. Furthermore, even though it is considered a "warm-up" tournament, the LCP 2025 Season Kickoff promises to be extremely competitive. The reason is because only the top 6 teams with the best records will continue to the next stage and 2 representatives will be eliminated.

The (former) VCS representatives including GAM, MVKE and TSW will need to do their best to get tickets to pass the LCP 2025 Season Kickoff stage.

Not stopping there, the competition schedule of (former) VCS representatives like GAM and MVKE proved not to be easy at all in the opening week of LCP 2025 Season Kickoff. Specifically, GAM will have to clash with SHG and MVKE will face CFO on the opening day of the tournament. Meanwhile, CFO is an extremely strong representative with stars who have played in the LPL such as Doggo and JunJia. These are clearly extremely big challenges for MVKE or GAM when competing for the first time at LCP 2025 Season Kickoff.
