Loser bracket quarterfinals

Team Falcons 1-2 Team Liquid

The final match of the day between Liquid and Falcons started dramatically, making the audience at the stadium extremely excited after having to watch two consecutive one-sided series of matches before. Liquid chose a quick team with miCKe using Templar Assassin, Nisha playing Earth Spirit, and SaberLight taking the offlane position with Undying. This lineup is intended to counter the Falcons' late-game strategy, consisting of Oliver "Skiter" Lepko playing Medusa, Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak using Earthshaker in mid, and Ammar "ATF" Assaf playing Viper in the offlane.

Both teams continued to exchange blows from the early to mid-game, but Liquid's quick lineup gave them the advantage heading into the late game. However, the Falcons won a big fight in the 54th minute, halting Liquid's momentum just as their three cores began to strengthen. Despite being at a disadvantage, Liquid still defended tenaciously, but the Falcons eventually skillfully overcame their opponents and destroyed Ancient to win after a breathtaking 69-minute match.

Full of revenge in game two, Liquid continued to take advantage of the Falcons' slow lineup with another fast lineup, including miCKe using Monkey King, Nisha playing Tiny, and SaberLight continuing with Primal Beast. Nisha had a perfect performance, as his explosive initiations almost brought Liquid the victory before his teammates could get involved. After an overwhelming 31-minute match, the Falcons could not resist anymore and had to type "GG" to bring the match into the deciding game.

Nisha finished game two with perfect stats of 8 kills and 21 assists, helping Liquid take the lead with a 37-9 kill score. SaberLight also achieved 12 kills and 19 assists with only 2 deaths, while miCKe contributed 9 kills and 15 assists with only 1 death.

This series started dramatically and ended even more satisfyingly. Both teams chose a strong and high-damage squad in the decisive match. Liquid uses Morphling for miCKe, Earth Spirit for Nisha, and Primal Beast for SaberLight; while the Falcons chose Earthshaker for Skiter in the carry position, Timbersaw for Malr1ne, and Bristleback for ATF.

Falcons controlled the match completely in the early stages, as Malr1ne easily won the lane and dominated the first teamfights. However, Liquid turned the situation around after miCKe's Morphling got on Aghanim's Scepter and began using the Morph ability to copy their opponent's Earthshaker, turning the Falcons' powerful damage to their advantage. But as the match dragged on, the Falcons' core trio became increasingly tough, making it impossible for even miCKe to kill quickly, leading to a deadlock as the clock passed the one-hour mark.

With the match devolving into chaotic, multi-minute skirmishes, the Falcons clawed their way back by taking advantage of their squad's more fluid movement to destroy Liquid's two towers. However, when Liquid found the perfect moment to open the fight, they forced the Falcons to use important buybacks, causing the Falcons squad to gradually lose the game. In the final fight at the Falcons' base, Liquid overcame all of their opponents' defensive efforts and won after a dramatic 77-minute match.

miCKe recorded 17 kills and 12 assists, only going down four times, helping Liquid close out the series. Meanwhile, Nisha contributed 11 kills and 24 assists, lying down 7 times. On the opponent's side, Malr1ne had 15 kills and 17 assists, going down 7 times, while ATF had 12 kills and 10 assists, going down 6 times in the Falcons' defeat.
