________________________________________

Western Europe Region: Team Liquid and AVULUS

The Western European region is the only qualifier with two spots at ESL One Bangkok thanks to its position as the strongest region in Dota 2, as well as having three Eastern European teams in the group of directly invited teams.

Defending champion The International, Team Liquid, easily qualified for first place with a perfect series, winning 2-0 against MOUZ, Gaimin Gladiators, and AVULUS. Meanwhile, AVULUS also surprised when defeating Paliantysia and overthrowing Tundra Esports to advance to the lower bracket.

In the deciding match, AVULUS faced OG - the team that was eliminated to the lower bracket after losing to Gaimin Gladiators. However, OG had an impressive breakthrough by eliminating MOUZ, Tundra, and Gaimin Gladiators to get close to the ticket to Bangkok.
Unfortunately, OG lost 0-2 to AVULUS, helping this team become the second representative of the Western European region.

PuckChamp then came back strongly by winning three consecutive 2-0 victories against NAVI Junior, PuckChamp, and L1GA TEAM to win a rematch with 1win for the ticket to ESL One Bangkok.

In the Bo5 qualifying final, PuckChamp opened with a dominant victory in 40 minutes, before making a spectacular comeback in the second match lasting 51 minutes to take a 2-0 lead. China Region: Gaozu

The China Regional Qualifiers brought a lot of excitement, but unfortunately mostly in a negative way. With many esports organizations withdrawing from Dota 2 in China due to the stagnation of the player community, only only Xtreme Gaming participates as a full professional organization.
Most of the remaining teams are independent squads of veterans. Like TEAM TURTLE (Du “Monet” Peng, Lu “Somnus” Yao, and Xu “fy” Linsen), Yakult's Brothers, and Gaozu (Wang “Ame” Chunyu, Zhang "Paparazi灬" Chengjun, and Zhao "XinQ" Zixing) .
Gaozu excellently won to become the only Chinese representative attending Bangkok. Gaozu easily overcame Spiky Gaming and Titan in the first two rounds before losing to Xtreme in the upper bracket finals. However, Gaozu came back strongly with a 2-0 victory over Yakult's Brothers to win the title. rematch with Xtreme in the grand final. There, both teams continuously exchanged victories in games before Gaozu overwhelmed Xtreme in just 29 minutes in the fifth game, thereby winning a ticket to Bangkok.

Southeast Asia: BOOM Esports

BOOM Esports will be the home team at ESL One Bangkok after winning the Southeast Asia qualifiers. They advanced to the grand finals by sweeping Teamless in the first round, defeating Aurora Gaming in a three-game series in the second round, and destroying Team Kukuys in the winners bracket finals.

BOOM finally faced off against Aurora once again for a spot in Bangkok, with Aurora having just completed a strong streak in the loser's bracket by eliminating Ivory, Talon Esports and Team Kukuys respectively. Aurora looked set to avenge their earlier defeat by taking a 2-0 lead in the finals series, but the resilient BOOM team pulled off a stunning 3-2 comeback, culminating in a victory. dramatic win in the 88-minute fifth game with a super late game.

North America: Shopify Rebellion

Shopify Rebellion returned to the spotlight by winning the North American qualifiers of ESL One Bangkok against Atlantic City, a squad made up of former members of Nouns Esports, which dominated them all year long.

Shopify Rebellion began its campaign by sweeping Zone Academy and defeating Apex Genesis in the first two rounds to advance to the winner's bracket final against Atlantic City. Although Shopify Rebellion won the first game, Atlantic City came back to win the next two games to advance to the grand finals. Shopify Rebellion was forced to defeat Zone Academy again to gain the opportunity to rematch with regional opponents and compete for a spot in Bangkok.

In stark contrast to previous encounters this year, Shopify Rebellion easily swept Atlantic City – all three games lasting just under 32 minutes – to become the representative of the North American region at ESL One Bangkok. In particular, two Filipino players of Shopify Rebellion, Erin “Yopaj” Ferrer and Andrei “skem” Ong, will have the opportunity to compete in their home region again with this victory.

South America region: beastcoast

The South American qualifiers saw a team defeat their regional opponents, who had dominated them throughout the year, to earn a ticket to Bangkok. This time, it was beastcoast, who excelled against HEROIC.

Beastcoast started off strong in the qualifiers, as they swept Hokori in the first round before defeating HEROIC in a three-game series in the winner's bracket semi-finals. Beastcoast then took down FUSION to become the first team to appear in the grand finals. Meanwhile, HEROIC had an excellent run in the loser's bracket, where they defeated Infinity, Team Waska and FUSION to earn a rematch with beastcoast.

There was a time when it looked like HEROIC would be the team to go to Bangkok as they led 2-1 after the first three games. However, beastcoast overcame their opponents in two dramatic late matches (game 4 and 5), to become the team representing the South American region at ESL One Bangkok.

MESWA Region: Nigma Galaxy

Nigma Galaxy probably have the easiest path to Bangkok of all seven regional qualifiers, as their only real opponents in the MESWA regional qualifiers are Iran-Pakistan stack Winter Bear.

Nigma Galaxy won consecutively 3-0 through three series, with 2-0 wins over Ethereal Edge, Winter Bear and Team Mansaf to advance to the finals. Meanwhile, Winter Bear also made a spectacular run in the loser's bracket, defeating Rogue Squad, Advance Esports and Team Mansaf to gain the opportunity to rematch Nigma Galaxy in the finals to compete for a spot in ESL One Bangkok.

Winter Bear gave the favourites, Nigma Galaxy, a heart attack by winning the first game. However, Nigma Galaxy still showed superior class by winning three consecutive games to win the MESWA qualifier and officially have a ticket to Bangkok.
