M80 will have the last chance to win tickets to the Major in the deciding match in bracket 2-2.

Complexity achieved its goal and successfully passed the RMR

Complexity defeated M80 2-0 on maps Anubis (13-8) and Vertigo (13-9) to qualify for the Opening Stage of the Perfect World Shanghai Major.

Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski's team qualified after just four matches, with wins over BESTIA and BOSS, and only a single defeat to MIBR in the 2-0 round.

“We have a very good chance, and played very well in practice matches,” Michael "Grim" Wince said about the team's prospects in the Major in the post-match interview. "We've said in some interviews that, in the opinion of some of the team, this is the best form we've been in all year, and I agree with that."

“We had a few errors during our run at RMR to qualify, but now that the pressure has eased and we have qualified for the Major, we can focus fully on continuing to improve."

The round 2-1 match began on the Anubis map, where Complexity was well positioned from the start, winning six rounds on the CT side. EliGE and Håkon "hallzerk" Fjærli each had five multi-kills and both surpassed the 20-kill mark as Complexity won 13-8 while switching to the offensive side.

The Vertigo map, which is considered Complexity's "secret weapon" in the pick and ban phase, still has some issues that need improvement. Despite their win over M80, Johnny "JT" Theodosiou's team still struggled, losing four of their nine successful opening attempts in the first half and trailing 5-7 when they changed sides...

In the end, Complexity regained control, took control of the match, and won 13-9 thanks to a solid performance on CT's side, securing their spot at the Major.

M80 has not been eliminated from the race and despite losing today's match, they have only recorded two losses. Therefore, M80 will participate in the decisive matches on the final day to seek the opportunity to win tickets to the Major.
