Black Shrew Esports (BSE) has overwhelmingly established itself as the strongest team in the world in the game Honor of Kings.

The team from Malaysia, Black Shrew Esports, won the trophy at the Honor of Kings Championship 2024 after defeating Indonesia's Dominator Esports 4-0 in the final. With this win, the Malaysian team received a prize of US$300,000 and cemented their position as the strongest Honor of Kings team in the world.

In the first game, BSE chose the strong combination of Yuhuan and Dolia. Meanwhile, Dominator possesses Adrian "Toshi" Bacallo's Lady Sun with Lian Po to counter the opponent's fierce attack. Initially, the Dominator's plan worked as they successfully held off the Malaysian team's attack. However, BSE gradually prevailed thanks to their disciplined playstyle, which helped them control the map and attack their opponents' bases. In the end, Dominator had to give up in the first game.

In the second and third games, the advantage was completely in favor of BSE. Dominator's Ilham “CipengZ” Aldiqri, who usually plays an important role in the team, could not make a difference using Biron and Augran in these two games. The Indonesian team was still unable to break BSE's defense, leading to Dominator losing both games and falling behind 0-3.

In the fourth game, Dominator showed signs of resistance, gaining an early advantage over Ho Zhe “Freddie” Khoo's Han Xin. However, this advantage only lasted until mid-game, when BSE took advantage of Dominator's small mistakes to regain the position and control the game. Finally, BSE won the fourth game and ended the series 4-0 to be crowned Honor of Kings Championship 2024.

BSE has completed its journey to become the Honor of Kings world champion. However, the question about the confrontation between the strongest team in China and the strongest team in the world remains unanswered. The Honor of Kings Championship will return in 2025.
