Ilya "Illidan" Pivtsaev, Streamer of Team Spirit, said that Yandex Team is not a Tier-1 squad, and their real limit is currently only Tier-2 in the professional Dota 2 arena.

Speaking at a broadcast on Twitch, Illidan said:

"They have not yet asserted themselves, and has not reached Tier-1 level. I do not rule out the possibility of development and progress in the future, but at the present time, they are not strong enough to compete with the real strong teams."

Illidan also noted that he did not deny the development potential of the squad, but with his current style and class, Yandex Team still has a big gap with the top of the world.

The Yandex Team Club has not had any official response to the "half -skeptical, half -actual" speech from Team Spirit's streamer.
