Onic Philippines and Team Liquid Ph won the right to attend the MSC 2025 after reaching the final of the Philippine MPL season 15.

Onic Philippines and Team Liquid Ph will represent the Philippines at the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2025 after both teams enter the finals of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) season 15. Both will confront 21 teams from all over the world in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to compete for the prestigious MSC for the Cup for the country.

Onic Philippines was the first team to win tickets to the MSC 2025 after becoming the first team to reach the final of the Philippines MPL season 15. Their journey started from the play-in, where they defeated Twisted Minds PH with a choking victory 3-2. Next, they made a surprise when defeating the Aurora Gaming candidate in the semi -finals of Thang branch, then continued the impressive performance with the overwhelming victory against Team Liquid Ph in the final of Thang branch.

Meanwhile, Team Liquid Ph entered the playoff round from the semi-finals of the Branch after leading the MPL Philippine group stage season 15. However, they lost to Onic Ph in the winning final and were pushed down to the losing branch. Without giving up, Team Liquid PH successfully revenge team Falcons Ph with a 4-2 victory at the final of the loss, thereby winning the remaining capacity to the MSC 2025.

MSC 2025, within the framework of the 2025 Esports World Cup, will officially start from July 10 to August 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, the final final of the Philippines MPL season 15 between the Philippines and Liquid PH team will take place in the Bo7 series (Best of 7), in order to determine the national champion.
