Swordart officially retired after 12 years of Esport

Hu "Swordart" Shuo-Chieh, a 28-year-old support player from Taiwan, officially announced his retirement on his personal Weibo page. One of the legends of the League of Legends village has closed the professional journey from 2013. The last team he played was Vikings Esports, where he played in the first half of 2025 in the LCP.
Swordart has won LMS 6 times with Flash Wolves, reaching the semi-final of Mid-Season Invitational twice in 2017 and 2018, and especially participating in the 2020 Worlds Final with Suning-where they lost to Damwon Gaming. After that, he played for Tsm, Anyone’s Legend, Ultra Prime and CTBC Flying Oyster. For more than a decade, Swordart has always maintained its peak performance and is one of the first generation players left in the professional arena.
"My career is like a wave - sometimes ups and downs, but for me, it is an important and unforgettable journey," Swordart shared in the video to fans. He said he had no intention of disappearing but would continue to pursue a new path. However, the next projects have not been announced.
Throughout his career, Swordart has become a symbol of Taiwanese Legends and many times showing the world level in international tournaments.
