Fearless Draft - The new ban mode applied widely by Riot in 2025 - is creating a wave of controversy when bringing newness to viewers but making some teams, especially from the LCK area, feels "uncomfortable".

According to LPL's BLV Miller, some LCK teams are said to have proposed Riot Games to remove Fearless Draft mode from two important international tournaments: MSI 2025 and Worlds 2025.

Reason? Fearless Draft forced teams to constantly change tactics, not only using a few cabinets as before. This is especially difficult for LCK teams to be famous for disciplined and standard play. They have to spend more time practicing and preparing - while the possibility of "stumbling" in official matches increases.

Not only that, the weaker teams can take advantage of the surprise in the ban to create mutations, making the big guys wary.

However, the ability to riot according to LCK's proposal is almost zero. Currently, Fearless Draft is still bringing a positive effect on the media and experience, so it is almost certain that it will continue to be kept at MSI 2025. Any change - if any - will only happen later.

However, there is also an opinion that Riot needs to adjust the general balance system so that this regime will maximize the effectiveness. Because at present, many generals are still banned/selected continuously and lack of diversity.
