Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak said he was seriously ill in the final of the Blast Slam III Dota 2 tournament. However, the player of Team Falcons asserted that this was not an excuse for the defeat against Tundra Esports in the decisive match.

The statement was posted by Malr1ne on personal telegram channel:

"It is impossible to 'make the circle', get sick (right on the final day). Feeling unwell, stuffy nose + fever + a bit tired. This is not the reason for the loss, just want to share."

Malr1ne also added that he and his teammates were satisfied with the runner -up position, especially after the failed performance in the previous PGL tournament. However, he also admitted he wanted to win the championship, because more than half a year has passed that Falcons has never been to the throne in any tournament.

"Objective, very satisfied with the results, especially after what happened at PGL haha. But subjective still want to win, more than half a year, no award is first. It's okay, in the immediate future, Riyadh and Ti - that's really important. We will continue to improve his performance."

Earlier, Ammar "ATF" Al-AssaF also shared about how he chose the general in the tactic of Team Falcons.
