EVP and All Star of Blast Rivals season 1
CS209-05 03:38

The familiar player continued to win the prize after Zywoo won the fifth MVP title in a row.

Vitality has advanced to the fifth consecutive championship at Blast Rivals, while Mathieu "Zywoo" Herbaut won the fifth MVP in a row in his career - bringing his total MVP to 25, just before the Oleksandr "S1Mple" Kostyliev back to play.

In the MVP interview, Zywoo praised Falcons, the team forced Vitality to play up to 5 maps in two consecutive finals since recruiting Ilya "M0nesy" Osipov.

This promises to be an attractive confrontation to Major Austin, but so far only one winner.

What is Round Swing?
Round Swing (RS) is a new indicator added to the EVP evaluation system since 2025, which is part of the process of developing a rating system 3.0.

Round Swing assesses the influence of each defeated network on the team's ability to win, considering:

The economic status of the two sides,

Bomb status,

The number of people still alive,

Map and role (CT or T).

On average, this index fluctuates around 0, most of the players range from -3 to +3.

Although the system is still being completed, it has been used to make EVP decisions. In addition, other indicators such as damage, network, death, KAST have been adjusted to economics - all to help assess more accurately than who actually creates an influence in a round, tournament, or a year.

Outstanding performances

M0nesy led in the rating before the final (higher than Zywoo 0.01) and had two outstanding maps on Sunday (23-14 on Inferno, 35-19 on Mirage), helping Falcons near the championship trophy.
But in the decisive map, he only reached 0.86 rating, missing the first MVP in 2025.

However, M0nesy still ends the tournament with:

+3.82 Round Swing,

1.20 KPRW (Kill Per Round Weighted),

21.1% of multi-kill ratio.

Robin "Ropz" Kool has the fourth EVP in 2025 (only 1 in 2024). He is always stable, never falling below 0.96 ratings, and especially shines with 1.84 ratings in the final decision map.

Danil "Donk" Kryshkovets stands out thanks to the extremely high raw index: 1.40 ratings and 1.31 KPRW - although mostly before the weak opponent. However, with 1.21 rating (and +0.99 RS) when meeting Falcons and Vitality, he deserves to be on the EVP list.

The best players Blast Rivals season 1 (in order):
🇫🇷 Mathieu "zywoo" Herbaut

🇷🇺 Ilya "m0nesy" osipov

🇪🇪 Robin "Ropz" Kool

🇷🇺 Danil "Donk" Kryshkovets

Nomination of honor:
Dorian "xortion" Berman reached 1.30 ratings, but only +0.19 Round Swing when he met the top 10, not impressive enough.

Dmitry "SH1RO" Sokolov has a rating of 1.34, but mainly "farm" weak opponents, not impressive when meeting strong teams.

Nikola "Niko" Kovač has the potential to win EVP but play poorly in the final (0.68 rating).

Shahar "Flamez" Shushan is a person who has a good impact in Vitality's winning, but the average rating (1.04) is not enough to make the list.

All Star (new Best Five) squad:
Zywoo, Ropz, Donk - are the official winners.

Dan "Apex" Madesclaire still holds a position even though Vitality plays better in T at the tournament.

Emil "Magisk" Reif reached the squad thanks to the shining screens in stressful matches (1.18 vs Spirit, 1.34 Potm vs Mouz), though not at the top of the peak as the period 2016–2019.
