OG is giving fans a rare view of their recent difficulties in Dota 2 - something that electronic sports organizations are rarely, if not unprecedented and public.

OG, The Champion of The International (Ti) twice, has released a documentary titled "Lessons in Defeat", providing a close view of the journey of Dota 2 squad in the Western European region in the early stages of the 2025 season. The film follows the former Nuengnara player "23savage" Teeramahanon, Leon "Nine" Kirilin, Adrian "Wisper" Cesedes "cesperes" cesedes "cesperes Dobles, Matthew "Ari" Walker, and Jian Wei "Xnova-" Yap from the early days of founding the team until disintegrating.

Launched on Friday (May 2), the 34 -minute documentary brought a realistic and emotional perspective on the difficulties and efforts behind the scenes of the team. The film also recorded the contribution of coach Maurice "Khezu" Gutmann, the manager at that time Allen Cook, as well as the two co -founder OG, Johan "N0tail" Sundstein and Sébastien "Ceb" Debs.

The film recorded the team's journey at ESL One Bangkok 2024 in November last year, where OG showed the potential when defeating strong teams like Gainin Gladiators and Tundra Esports. However, they could not win the right to attend the tournament when eliminated by Avulus, an emerging team at the time.

OG's journey at Blast Slam I is also recreated in the documentary. Although OG's overall results are not very impressive, the actual turning point comes in a decisive match with Team Falcons. OG took the lead in the last match, but a serious server incident caused the match to play completely, leading to their excluding the Lan Lan tournament.

This was the time when the OG squad then disbanded. Wisper returned to South America to join Heroic. 23savage and Xnova also return to Southeast Asia to seek new opportunities. Ari is currently playing for Natus Vincere on loan. Nine continued to stick with OG for a while but also left the team in early April after disappointing results.

Where will OG go next?

Although it seems at the bottom of the abyss, OG has no signs of giving up the professional arena. Currently, OG is testing a new squad with the players Altanginj "423" Bilguun, Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau, and Ivan "Kidaro" Bondarev.

Not only that, OG has recently signed a contract with the sub -team from Peru called OG.Latam, including South American stars such as Hector Antonio "K1" Rodriguez and Gonzalo "Darkmago" Herrera. OG.Latam will attend the DreamLeague Season 26 starting on May 19.
