In the context that the season is entering tense, JD Gaming (JDG) - one of the top teams of Chinese League of Legends - has surprised fans when announcing the farewell of CVMax coach. According to the official announcement from the organization, this decision was made due to the health issue of the Korean coach.

Notice from JDG on the homepage stated:
"JDG and CVMAX coach of the League of Legends team agreed to terminate the contract immediately. This decision is based on CVMax's wishes to return to his hometown to focus on recovering health, while considering the team's upcoming schedule."

Since joining JDG in December 2024, CVMax coach has shown professionalism and the spirit of working non -stop with the team. His strict training style and clear strategy has contributed to improving the effectiveness of training, developing personal skills and overall tactics of the team.

"We sincerely thank coach CVMAX for the dedication and dedicated instructions in the past. At the same time, JDG also sends gratitude to the fans for their non -stop support for our League of Legends team.

This decision was a big surprise because JDG is currently playing in the middle of the LPL 2025 Split 2 season, with the 4th place in the ASCend table and a record of 3 wins - 2 losses. In Split 1 earlier this year, JDG rolled in third place after losing to Anyone's Legend 2-3 at the final of the winning branch, and continued to defeat 1-3 against the top eSports in the final of the loss.

After the end of the 2024 season, JDG strongly reformed the squad. In particular, only the player supporting Missing is retained. Both names like Ruler or Kanavi have left. However, the JDG squad this season is still appreciated when recruiting many prominent names such as Korean duo Scout - Peyz, Runner -up of Worlds 2024 Xun and the road player on Ale.

Currently, LPL Split 2 has entered the third week. This week, JDG will have to play with a dense schedule of 4 consecutive matches against the opponents: Weibo Gaming (April 21), Anyone's Legend (April 24), Thundertalk Gaming (April 26) and Top Esports (April 27).
