Liquid surpassed Türkiye's representative in the 1-1 group after almost dropped the advantages of 9-2 and 10-4 on Inferno and Train.

The third day of the ESL Pro League season 21 round 2 witnessed the first matches to identify the teams in the playoffs. Spirit and Vitality have a 3-0 record to win tickets to continue, while Typo and Mibr are officially eliminated after two life and death matches.

Typo was eliminated, M0nesy made an eye -catching Ace with Scout before SAW

G2 has an overwhelming victory over Saw in the 1-1 group thanks to the excellent performance of Ilya "m0nesy" Osipov, Mario "malbsmd" Samayoa and Nikita "heavygod" Martynenko. In particular, M0nesy created a memorable moment with a class Ace scout.

Meanwhile, Typo ended the ESL Pro League campaign regretfully in the 0-2 group. They had a spectacular comeback on Ancient before gamerlegion, led 15-12, but then lost in extra time.

The Chinese team continued to fail on Inferno in extra time, officially saying goodbye to the tournament. Dongkai "jee" Ji shared with HLTV that this defeat was really a big shock to the team.

Falcons and Eternal Fire face the risk of being eliminated

Two of the eight teams with the highest ranking in the second round are at risk of being eliminated when entering the fourth day of competition.

Falcons used to show high performance when coming to Sweden, after returning to second at PGL Cluj-Napoca. This is a positive sign after a turbulent year of the organization, especially after the addition of Nikola "niko" Kovač.

They started EPL quite well with a 2-1 victory over Liquid after two tense games in extra time. However, the defeat quickly against Mouz and the 1-2 defeat against 3Dmax pushed Falcons to the 1-2 group, causing them to fight the life and death.

The French team was once considered the "last gate" of Tier 2 level, but the way they were crushed by 3Dmax 13-2 on Dust2 was an alarm bell. Without improving performance, Niko and teammates may soon leave the tournament.

Eternal Fire is also in the same situation. After the defeat to 3DMax in the opening match, they continued to lose to Liquid on the third day, despite their tenacious fighters.

Türkiye representative showed the resilience, taking advantage of Liquid's mistakes to narrow the distance from 2-9 and 4-10 on Inferno and Train. However, even though they pulled the train into the double extra time, they still could not complete the comeback.

Navi and Liquid test train for the first time

The match between Liquid and Eternal Fire marked the first time Liquid used a train map at EPL. Roland "ultimate" Tomkowiak excelled on the defense, helping the team lead 8-4.

However, Liquid's attack could not end the match in the official time. Ali "wicadia" Haydar Yalçın continuously exploit the mistake from A Main, forcing Russel "twistzz" Van Dulken must shine in extra time to bring in victory.

Natus Vincere (Navi) also once used Train before Pain, but they had great difficulties on the CT side.

Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov shone brightly to save Navi from a defeat, with 31-18 K-D, 11 Multi-Kills and Rating 1.49, helping the team win 16-14 before destroying the opponent on Mirage to close the match.
