The Esports ecosystem of Honor of Kings will grow increasingly when the developer Tencent Games announced the establishment of seven regional tournaments globally. These regional tournaments include: Malaysia Kings League (MKL), Indonesia Kings Laga (IKL), Philippines Kings League (PKL), Kings Major East (KME) for Japan, Korea, Mena and South Asia, Kings Major West (KMW) for Americas, CIS, Europe and Türkiye, Brazil Championship (Chokbr) Series (WKS) for Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, Timor Leste, Brunei, Hong Kong - China, Macau - China.

These regional tournaments will be the gate that leads to global Esports Honor of Kings, including Kings World Championship at Esports World Cup and Honor of Kings International Championship. The tournaments will be held twice a year, with the first season in April and the second season in August.

Each regional tournament will have 8 to 10 teams participating, with some teams announced.

MKL has confirmed the presence of Team Secret, Nova Esports, Black Shrew Esports and Todak, along with four drums. IKL will have eight teams confirmed along with two empty capacity, while the PKL has five teams that have been confirmed and the remaining three.

Notably, KMW and KME are two areas with special teams participating in the Honor of Kings ecosystem. The European Organization OG, famous for their DOTA 2 team, along with the legendary Russian organization Virtus.pro has been confirmed to join KMW, next to Next Ruya and 9Z teams. Meanwhile, Crazy Racoon and R8 Esports will join KME with Gen.G and Nongshim Redforce. Both KMW and KME will have a total of eight teams attending.

In addition to announcing regional tournaments, Tencent also revealed that Kings World Cup in the framework of Esports World Cup will gather 18 strongest teams in the world, including: three teams from MKL, PKL, IKL; two teams from Chokbr; And a team from KME, KMW, WKS, Major Last Call, Mena Qualifier, Asian Champions League, and Kpl Spring.

The organization of new regional tournaments will change the way to win tickets to participate in the largest international tournaments in the Esports ecosystem of Honor of Kings. With the participation of many big names, the future of King’s Gorge is becoming promising.
