Couples for the opening round of the IEM Katowice table were determined after the first three days of competition in Poland.

8 teams - Furia, Eternal Fire, 3DMAX, Gamerlegion, Astralis, Liquid, Virtus.pro and Big - have passed phase 1 to join the eight strongest teams in the world in a group stage competing in the formula of Branch - Branch lose.

The two groups are divided as follows:

6 of the 8 opening matches will take place on Saturday, while the remaining 2 will be held on Sunday. Phase 2 will start at 19:30, when Nikola "⁠niko⁠" Kovač has the first spread for Falcons against Eternal Fire, while Vitality will confront 3DMax.

Then on Saturday, Jonathan "⁠elige⁠" Jablonowski will have the debut in the Faze shirt when this team encountered Big.

The number one team in the world will only play Sunday, confronting Astralis in the rematch of the semi -finals of Blast World Finals.

The top 3 teams each group will win tickets to the live qualifying round at Spodek Arena, with the top team of each group that is specially in the semi -finals.
